Helen M. Fredenburgh Foster, 91 West Sand Lake Helen M. Fredenburgh Foster, 91, of Springer Road, died Saturday at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sand Lake, she was daughter of the late Frank and Belva Sliter Fredenburgh and wife of the late Harold A. Foster. She had resided in the West Sand Lake area her entire life and was a graduate of Troy High School. Mrs. Foster was Dictaphone operator for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance for 19 years retiring in 1973 and during the Korean War she worked for the Watervliet Arsenal. She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, New York State Retirees and a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Sand Lake. Survivors include a son Harold R. Foster and wife Nancy of Schuylerville; two daughters Elaine L. Mahoney and husband John of West Sand Lake and Joan G. Bradley and friend Mario Darpino of Albany; a brother Raymond Fredenburgh of Cincinnati, OH; a brother-in-law Daniel Riley of Schodack; five grandchildren Mark Bradley, Suzanne Witte, Lori Regan, Dean Foster and Tara Barkevich; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Esther Pabst and Evelyn Riley.
