Helen Elizabeth Lawson Wright, 89 formerly of Clarksburg, and currently of Meadowview Manor, Bridgeport passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born February 13, 1921, in Brushy Fork, Harrison County. She was the wife of the late William Wright and he passed in 1978 and the daughter of the late Willie D. and Freda V. Pratt Lawson. She is survived by one daughter, Roberta Wright Toryak Poe and her husband Robert; two grandchildren, Pamela Toryak Ramsey and her husband Richard of Melbourne, Fl; J. Stephen Toryak, Jr. and his wife, Ruby of Stuart Fl; eight great-grandchildren, Charles Pignanelli and wife Kayla, Alessia Toryak, Chasity Pignanelli, J. Stephen Toryak III, Emily Ramsey, Karissa Toryak, Kayla Toryak and Julia Ramsey; one sister; Mary Ellen Lawson Challenger and her husband Sidney of , Trumbull, Ct; and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a graduate of Washington Irving High School and lived her entire life in West Virginia except for a brief period in Florida. She was a member of Central Christian Church. A kind and gentle woman with a gracious smile, she loved her pets and pictures. She will be missed by all who loved her.
