Helen E. Jones was born to the late Guy Hayes and Etta Pope Hayes on May 2, 1927 in Cleveland Ohio. The Lord, whom she loved, called her to eternal rest on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Etta Hayes; four brothers, Andrew, Daniel, Matthew and Samuel Hayes.
She is survived by: special nephews, Thomas L. Owens and Darryl D. Owens of Hillsboro, AL; brothers-in-law, the Rev. John B. Owens (Hazel) of Oakland CA, the Rev. Leo Owens (Betty) of Hillsboro, AL, Oscar L. Owens (Betty) of Washington, DC, the Rev. Dr. Willie N. Owens (Lucille) of Huntsville, AL; sisters-in-law, Lillie M. Robinson, Decatur, AL and Sallie Massey of Dayton, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
