Waterbury – Mrs. Helen E. (Barbee) Fiermonte, age 89, of Waterbury, died peacefully at her home on Monday April 25, 2016. She was the widow of Nicholas Fiermonte.
Mrs. Fiermonte was born in Washington, D.C. on February 26, 1927. She was the daughter of the late William and Mattie(Potts) Barbee.
Mrs. Fiermonte is survived by a daughter: Debra Hunter and her husband Jeffrey of Waterbury, and a son: Wayne Fiermonte and his wife Elaine of Waterbury. She leaves five grandchildren: Carla and Marc Fiermonte of Naugatuck, Leigh and Kendra Hunter of Waterbury,and Craig and Katie Fiermonte of Agawam, Ma. She adored her four great grandchildren Damien and Adrian Navarro of Naugatuck and Alanna and Chloey Fiermonte of Agawam, MA.
