Helen Diana Blier, 82 of Cocoa Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at The Solaris Nursing Home in Merritt Island after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
She was born in Manchester, N.H. and was predeceased by her parents Risida and Roger Roux. She is survived by four sisters, Pauline Boudreau, Florence Bernard, Lucille Baillie & Kelly Jackman, sister-in-law Maggie Savoie ,her loving husband Jules Blier as well as two daughters, Susan Weaver & life partner Morris Nelson & Kelley Snoddy & husband Andrew Snoddy.
Helen had four grandchildren, Jason Kalantzis & wife Christa Kalantzis, Patrick Maloney, Ashley Freck & Marissa Weaver.
She also had five great-grandchildren, Zander, Sophia, Ella, Julian & Gabriel.
Helen resided in Manchester, NH for many years with Jay and her children. She worked for many years in the insurance industry as an underwriter, agent and claims adjustor as well as being a Real Estate Agent.
They moved to Northwood, NH and enjoyed many years at their lakefront home that was built by Jay. She enjoyed entertaining and celebrating with their family ,especially on their 4th of July wedding anniversary.
They moved to Cocoa Beach, FL in 1986 to start a new chapter in their lives.
Once in Florida Helen was a Mary Kay Consultant for a period of time.
When she retired she enjoyed the Florida lifestyle with her family such as boating, swimming & going to the beach.
She also enjoyed reading, collecting Angel figurines of all types and a love for music! Helen would spend hours upon hours playing her organ.
She loved her family and her family loved her very much too! She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched but she will never be forgotten.
