Helen Vastola DelStritto, 91, formerly of Old Tavern Road, Orange and Dayton St., New Haven passed away Dec. 5, 2011 in The Arden House, Hamden. She was the widow of Paul DelStritto. Mrs. DelStritto was born in New HavenDec. 19, 1919, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosina Pepe Vastola. Prior to her retirement, she was a buyer and sales lady for Broker’s Casuals. She is survived by her daughter, Rosanne (John) Stephens of Henderson, Nevada; her daughter in law, Grace DelStritto of West Haven; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Richard R. DelStritto; a brother, Frank Vastola; and six sisters, Mary Ruotolo, Rita Centone, Sue Maraucci, Carmela Marchitto, Theresa Giordano and Anne Izzo.
