Helen Carolyn (Kook) Kogut, 95, passed away May 31, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
Helen was born in Wilbraham on November 14, 1919 to the late Joseph and Karolina (Opiekun) Kook. Helen was a devoted housewife and mother with her greatest joys in life being her grandchildren and her love of gardening.
Helen is survived and dearly missed by her son Jeffery of Wilbraham; daughter-in-law Kathryn Kogut of Springfield and her children Jessica and Alexander; and also son Mark and his wife Donna of Springfield. Helen was predeceased by her husband Stanley E. Kogut, Sr. in 1979; her son Stanley Kogut, Jr. in 2008; her grandson Andrew Kogut in 2015; her brothers Walter, Stanley and Charles Kook and her sister Stella Imbier.
The family would like extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham for their compassionate care of Helen.
