Helen Bragg Leggett, 74, of Cambria, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 11, 1937 the daughter of the late Lawrence H. Bragg and Audra Lowe Bragg. She was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Ernest Arlin Leggett, in August of 2010, whom she married March 10, 1955. She is survived by four children; Ernest Arlin Leggett, Jr. and wife Joyce of Woodburn, TN, Patricia D. McCoy and husband Dolan of Lumberport, Doralynn Gooden and fiancée Robert Freshour of Lumberport and Lawrence D. Leggett and wife Bobbie of Lumberport; seven grandchildren; Joshua Gooden and wife Jessica, Glenda Lucas and husband Aillen, Mandi Mathews, Samantha Leggett, Lawrence Leggett, Bree Leggett, Ernest Arlin Leggett III; five great grandchildren; Shelby Mathews, Joshlynn Gooden, Nikki Mathews, Gavin Gooden and Harley Leggett. Helen was a military wife for 20 years and a minister’s wife for 20 plus years. She was the president of PLA for 10 plus years. She really enjoyed church and worship and was a member of the Branch of the True Vine Church. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was involved in church fundraisers, baking for church functions and volunteered at the hospital. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
