Helen (Borowski) Nabożną 97, of New Fairfield, died peacefully on Monday April 25, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Edward J. Nabozna.
Helen was born on March 31, 1925, in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stefanie (Cybulski) Borowski. She graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx, New York and worked at the J.H. Monteath Company in New York where she met her husband, Edward. They were married on April 10, 1948 and lived in the Bronx raising their two children. In 1967 they moved to Candlewood Knolls in New Fairfield where Helen became very involved in the community. She eventually worked at the Danbury Superior Court for several years before retiring.

Helen is survived by her daughter Claudia Kozlowski (Robert) and son John Nabozna (Anetra). She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Stefanie Ott (Jeremy), Mary Tita (Kevin), Michael Kozlowski (Emma), John Nabozna, Justin Nabozna, James Nabozna and Jeffrey Nabozna; 9 Great Grandchildren, Gavin, Makenna and Cole Ott, Addison, Brady and Jack Tita, Ryan, Reagan and Reese Kozlowski as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her 3 sisters and their husbands.
