Helen A. Wanamaker
Helen A. Wanamaker, 68, a resident of Gooding, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at the North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding.
Helen was born on July 12, 1942 in Dover, New Jersey, the oldest of nine children born to Paul and Evelyn Hallowich.
On February 15, 1959 she married John Wanamaker in Denville, New Jersey. They had five children together. In 1980 they moved to Gooding, Idaho where she went back to school to receive her high school diploma, a long deserved feat.
She worked for Tupperware in Jerome until they closed, and then became a cook at the Lincoln Inn for 10 years.
She was a loving, caring wife to John for 52 years; and a loving mother to: sons, John (Bernadette) Wanamaker, Jr. and Robert (Dotty) Wanamaker, both of New Jersey; daughter, Helen Bowman of Gooding; daughter, Barbara (James) Stocking of Utah; and son, Charles (Amanda) Wanamaker of Shoshone; grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 5.
Her love and friendship will be missed by us all.
