Hector Malave of Wappingers Falls, passed away in his home on Aug. 10. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his mother: Mildred Ortiz, Carlos Rodriguez Sr., Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Mildred & David Albino and nieces and nephew: Elyse, Natalie and David Albino. Hector was a giving and caring person who often put others before himself. He sparked a love of anime, science and video-games in his nieces, nephew and great nephew. He was easy going and always loved to joke around. He couldn’t stand to see others hurting and spent his life as a caregiver and EMT for the City of New York.
