Hector John Burelle, 72, of Pudding Hill Rd. Hampton, died Monday April 8, 2002 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was born Feb. 28, 1930 in Hampton the son of Hector Joseph Burelle and Kathryn (George) Burelle and was a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. John co-owned and operated the Burelle Brothers Sawmill in Hampton for many years. He served the town as selectman from 1959 to 1969 and was also firemarshall.
