Hector Resurin Furagganan, born January 28, 1947 in Manila Philippines. Died January 14, 2014 in Murrieta CA. Married to Dorothy Ann Sandrick for 41 years.
Survived by children Ginhawa F. Japlit (daughter) & Jonathan Japlit (son-in-law); Josua M. Furagganan (son); Aubrey T. Bowman (daughter) & Jason R. Bowman (son-in-law). Grandchildren Paige and Jason Japlit, Sierra Ann & Jacob Furagganan, Joseph & Andre Cabanilla, and Kaitlin Bowman.
Hector was very active in the local Filipino community as well as the active duty/retired military community. He was elected to several positions as a board member of Radio Pinoys, the P.I.N.O.Y.S., and the Fil-Am Council of Ventura County.
Hector will be remembered as a fun-loving, generous person, full of life and the love of God. He gave his love deeply from his big heart in his good natured way. His greatest loves were his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed all types of music, dancing, bowling, and cooking was his passion.
He will be greatly missed but we rejoice that he has gone on to his heavenly reward to be with Father God and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Eternal rest grant unto Hector oh Lord, may he rest in peace, amen.
