He was a full-time student at UT Pan American in Edinburg majoring in Sociology and minoring in Spanish. Hector enjoyed gardening and listening to music. He was a great man of faith with great integrity and lived life to the fullest. He spent time volunteering at Loaves & Fishes and loved to help the less fortunate.
Hector is survived by his parents, Elias and Josefa Rodriguez; brothers and sister, Sandra Rodriguez, Elias Rodriguez (Cynthia), and Jose Luis Rodriguez (Sara); nephews and nieces, Victoria and Valerie Garza, Elias Rodriguez III, Sarahi Rodriguez and Enrique Coy Rodriguez; his maternal grandmother, Aracelia Coy; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
