Heath Michael Prescott Alfaro, 32, of Galesburg, died at 9:43 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at home.
Heath was born in Galesburg, Illinois on October 8, 1983. He married Samantha Anne Mason on December 12, 2008 in Galesburg. Sam survives of Galesburg.
Heath is also survived by his two daughters, Katelynn Rae and Kenley Joyce Alfaro both at home; and one son, Kallen Michael Alfaro who is due on April 21, 2016. Along with his children, Heath is also survived by his parents, Steven and Sharon “Sherry” Alfaro of Galesburg; his maternal grandparents, Sam (Bertie) Powell of Knoxville; his birth mother, Connie (Van) Becker of St. Louis, MO.
Also surviving is three brothers, Troy (Ericka) Prescott of Normal, Joshua (Sarah) Prescott of Heyworth, and Antonio (Jen) Alfaro of Davenport; three sisters, Christy (Brandon) Tate of Heyworth, Angie Prescott of Bloomington, and Rebecca Alfaro of Keokuk, IA; one step brother, Dewey Prescott of Galesburg; and a maternal step grandmother, Carol Hornbaker of Monmouth.
Also surviving are his mother and father in law, Tammy and Tim Mason of Stronghurst; a brother in law, Allen (Emily) Mason of Milwaukee, WI; a sister in law, Kristen Mason of Davenport, IA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Heath was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Carmen Alfaro; his maternal grandmother, Helen Hornbaker; and his maternal grandfather, Don Hornbaker.
Heath had worked for several years as a truck driver for Rat cliff trucking, transporting U.S. Mail. He enjoyed dirt track racing, watching sports on television, especially his beloved Chicago Cubs and Bears. He was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed watching it with his girls.
