Hazel Pearl Foxworthy, 85, of Crawfordsville, died at 1:10 p.m. Tuesdayat St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born Jan. 13, 1923, in MontgomeryCounty to Bernard and PearlSmith. She married James T. Foxworthyon Jan. 18, 1948.
He survives. Foxworthy worked for McClamrochGroves Insurance. Her memberships include Young Chapel Christian church and Harmony 18 Home Economics. She was an organist and pianist at Youngs Chapel for more than40 years.
She is survived by one son, RossFoxworthy of Crawfordsville; one brother, Joe Smith of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Foxworthy was preceded in death by one son, James Rex Foxworthy.
