Mrs. Hazel McDill Pugh, 103, of Graham died at Peak Resources-Alamance on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:49 AM
A native of Anniston, AL, she was the wife of the late Ben L. Pugh and the daughter of Thomas E. McDill and Maude Hitt McDill, both deceased. Mrs. Pugh retired from Graham Hosiery and was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and the Burlington Ladies’ Moose Club. She was also a member of New Covenant Fellowship.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Yvette Y. Axsom and husband Matthew of Keene, NH, Yvonne Y. Fritz and husband Craig of Boyd, WI and Yorke D. Young and wife Lori of Knoxville, TN; and seven great-grandchildren, Grant Axsom, Hannah Axsom, Brandon Fox, Kyle Fritz, Laney Fritz, Chloe Young and Sophia Young. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Pugh Young.
