Hazel M. Steelman, 79, of Washburn, IL passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 surrounded by her family. She is no longer in pain and will be reunited in eternity with her love, J.R. Alexander.
She was born on January 5, 1943 to the late Ernest and Marjorie Meyer in Flat Rock, Michigan.
Hazel is survived by her daughters Shelly Joiner of Washburn, IL, Margie (Rusty) DeLap of Metamora, IL, Hazel Haycraft (Gary Rushing) of Hickory, KY, Marty Blumenshine (Jim Keown) of Washburn, IL, and Billie Jo Blumenshine of East Peoria, IL and son Adam (Sara) Blumenshine of Creve Coeur, IL. She leaves behind to cherish her memory twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild due in December. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter, three sisters, four brothers, and two granddaughters.
Hazel retired from OSF St. Francis Mother House in Germantown Hills.
