Hazel Grace McDaniel Shaver, age 90, of Currey Ridge, Grafton, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Grafton City Hospital. She was born December 24, 1921, in Grafton, a daughter of the late Ernest L. McDaniel and Louisiana Grace (Knotts) McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester E. Shaver, October 22, 2003.
She was a member of the Janes Memorial United Methodist Church, and former member of the Blueville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Shaver graduated from Grafton High School in 1939, received her bachelors degree from Fairmont State College, and her masters degree from WVU.
