Hazel E. (Silva) Gould, 91, of Middleton passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody. Hazel was born in Lynn, MA and was the daughter of the late George and Clara (Palmer) Silva and was the widow of Arthur C. Gould, Sr. Hazel was raised and educated in Lynn was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She worked at the Washington Post during World War II. In 1945 she married Arthur and they settled in Peabody and later they moved to North Andover before retiring, to Port Charlotte, FL. And In 2010 they moved back to Danvers. Hazel was the anchor of the family she enjoyed seeing her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow over the years which brought her the greatest joy. She is survived by her sons; Arthur C. Gould, Jr, and his wife Angela of Middleton, MA, and Randy G. Gould and his wife Norma of Dover, NH, her cherished grandchildren Kenneth Gould of Winchester, MA, Laura Gould of Charlestown, MA, Melissa Gouette and her husband Chris of Berwick, ME and Robyn Hubert and her husband Tim of Tewksbury, MA and her 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
