Details: Hazel De Etta Williams, 98, of Pasadena passed away peacefully on August 21, 2014 at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on July 31, 1916 to the late Joseph S. and Minnie Ann Henry Church in Oakland, IL and moved to Brocton, IL at an early age. She attended both grade school and Brocton High School, graduating in 1935. Mrs. Williams was employed by the State of MD for 22 years, retiring in 1978 as the supervisor of Personal Property for Anne Arundel County. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, the Republican Presidential Task Force, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Hazel enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for her beloved dogs Jock and Missy. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Morgan Williams, her siblings Lucille, Lois and Joseph H. Church, and her dear friend Ralph Gowan. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, friends Gwen and Bob Eichorn and family.
