Hazel D. Robinson, 74, of Jacksonville, IL died Monday morning, September 13, 2010, at her residence. She was born December 4, 1935 in Macomb, IL; the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Mae Womack Daniels. She married Paul L. Robinson on April 12, 1958 in Jacksonville and he survives.
She is also survived by a son, Andre Robinson of Jacksonville; a grandson, Andre Robinson II of Springfield; a step-grandson, Wesley Mitchell (fiancé, Kelly Ray) of Springfield; two step-great-grandchildren, Daveona and Bryce Wesley; a sister, Barbara Jean Wilson (husband, Tom) of Jacksonville; two brothers, Joe Daniels Jr. of St. Louis, MO and Franklin B. Daniels of Victorville, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Geraldine Daniels and Lorraine Wheeler; and three brothers, LeRoy, Leslie, and Donald Daniels.
Mrs. Robinson was retired following over 25 years of service to Anderson-Clayton and later Kraft Foods in Jacksonville. She was a member of Bethel AME Church, Amvets Post 100 Auxiliary, and Moss-Walton American Legion Post Auxiliary, all of Jacksonville.
