She was born on October 1, 1931 in Duplin Co.,to her parents, the late Ennis and Gladys Brunson Craddock.
She was a retired educator with the Wayne County School System.
Loving memories will linger in the hearts of her daughter, Wandua (Wesley) Hemmingway of Philadelphia, PA; three grandchildren, James Hemmingway II, Katrina Hemmingway and Adrianna Hemmingway; four great grandchildren; one sister, Louise (Edward) Faison of Goldsboro; two aunts, Helen S. Penn of Brooklyn, NY and Hattie Smith of Faison and two nieces, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
