Hazel was born on December 24, 1917 in Hurley to Clinton Charles and Fanny (Pinson) Hotchkiss.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elgin Henry Ayars Adkisson (1978); her parents; and her brother, Harold Hotchkiss.
She is survived by an aunt, two nieces, many cousins and friends, and her cousins Daniel and Katie Morgan whom she has been living with.
