Hazel A. McElroy, age 92, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Born in Martinsville, Mississippi, on May 8, 1923, she was the daughter of Thomas Purser and Edna Pitts Purser. A resident of Boerne since 1977, she had moved from San Antonio where she had lived many years. She was a member of the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Charles McElroy in 1995, a brother, Thomas Purser and sister, Louise Purser. She is survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
