Hayward Oran Bolyard, 87 of Scotch Hill Rd, Newburg, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 2, 1925 at Marquess, son of the late Dorsey Britton and Jenny Mae Wolfe Bolyard, and his step-mother, Nona Hershman Bolyard. He was a coal miner for over 40 years and retired from Consol Energy #8 Shop at Osage. Hayward was survived by three children, Carolyn L Tichnell and husband Don, Masontown, Linda Sue Bolyard, Kingwood, Richard L Bolyard and wife Betty, Newburg; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Donald Bolyard; seven sisters, Edith Pysel, Norman Cooper, Karen Wiles, Shirley Bolyard, Allinda Maxon, Becky Hardesty and Dottie Langdon; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Hayward was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Martha Haskiell Bolyard in1998, one daughter, Shirley Tusing; one son, Gene Maxson; four brothers, Kenneth Bolyard, Carl Bolyard, Raymond Bolyard, Dorsey Bolyard; three sisters, Corey Alice Bolyard, Ethel Hershman, Elaine Law.
