Hattie I. (Wright) Carter, 88, of Anderson, passed away on April 8, 2015 at the Community Hospital Anderson.
She was born on February 13, 1927 in Cumberland Co., Kentucky, but resided most of her life in Anderson. She was homemaker where she took care of her family.
Hattie is survived by her loving children, Judy (Marvin) Smith of Anderson, Raymond Jack Carter of Anderson, Harold Wayne (Diana) Carter of Anderson, Vickie (Fred) Carter-Stanford of LaGrange, and Barbara Hawkins of Anderson; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchild with another on the way. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Hollin Carter; parents, Leo and Ettie (Piercy) Wright; and granddaughter, Nicole Reese.
