Harvey M. Tyler, 85, of Centralia passed away on November 5, 2012, at his home in Centralia. Mr. Tyler was born on March 10, 1927, in Orchardville the son of Harvey M. and Mae Rebecca (Gaines) Tyler.
He married Florence Eisler on October 14, 1960, and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Tyler is survived by one brother Harold Tyler of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Mr. Tyler was in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He served for many years. He retired from the Olin Corporation in 1989. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge 439 and the American Legion Post 446. He was a loyal fan of the Centralia Orphans and the St. Louis Cardinals.
