Proud grandfather of Amanda (James) Kooienga, Michael (Amy) Terpstra, David (Lynnae) Terpstra, Phillip Terpstra, and Katherine Bosma and great-grandfather of Leah, Charlotte, and Emma Kooienga and Travis Harvey Terpstra. Dear brother of Alice (late Gordon) Otter, Esther Rayburn, Carol (Dick) Jones, Ahleen (late Dave) Hofstra, and Shirley (Jim) Davidson.
Preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Jeannette (nee de Waal Malefyt) Terpstra.
