Harvey Louis Wilson, 62, husband of Millie (Kukavica) Wilson of Terryville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday April 2, 2007. Mr. Wilson was born on April 4, 1944 in Bristol, a son of the late Ralph and Pearl (Veretto) Wilson.
Harvey was President of the Bristol Auto Club for 25 years and a member of the club for over 32 years, and was awarded the Spirit of Bristol Award in 2006. Harvey, an avid drag racer, loved cars and was very active with charities, especially Rhianna’s Hope, of which he was a firm believer in. He helped organize the Saturday Cruise Nights at the mall and the street festivals in downtown Bristol. He worked for Acme Monaco Corp, New Britain for 10 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jennifer Wilson of Terryville, his son Scott Wilson of Torrington; his two daughters Deborah and Lisa; his two grandchildren Chaz and Brittney; his brother and sister-in-law Lloyd “Rocky” and Janet Wilson of Bristol; his sister Phyllis Kuhn of Brattleboro, V; his special nephew Troy Wilson of Bristol and several nieces and nephews.
