Harvey Duncan, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020. Harvey was born on December 31, 1949 and raised in Oneida, Tennessee. He moved to Dalton in the early 1970’s where he worked in the carpet industry for many years until his retirement. Harvey also was married to the love of his life Charlotte on August 7,1971. They were married for 49 years.
Harvey graduated from Cumberland College in Kentucky. He was a history buff. His passions also included hiking mountain trails, listening to oldies music, and watching NASCAR. He loved playing the piano for his church family at Harmony Grove Baptist.
Harvey was devoted to his family and friends. He will be remembered and missed very much.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Mae Duncan.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Duncan; daughter, Heather Duncan; sisters, Carrie Duncan Berry (David); grandchildren, Nicholas Greene and Janna Greene; and great grandchild, Merlin Duncan Varner.
