Harvey Dean Shaw, age 59, of Green Forest, passed away Tuesday October 18, at home. He was born December 25, 1951 at Denver, AR to Dean and Polly (Carmical) Shaw. He attended Green Forest public schools. From a very young age Harvey was talented at working on old cars and he continued working on cars, as a hobby in his later years. He was a truck driver most of his life and was employed for C& L Trucking out of Harrison. He will be remembered as a fun loving person who loved to tell jokes and was a joy to be around. He loved deer hunting and all kinds of fishing. He was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Harrison. Harvey is survived by two children; Jacob (Jake) Shaw and wife Missy of Harrison and daughter, Jody Dewey, his mother, Polly Shaw of Green Forest, brother, Frankie Shaw and wife Sherry of Huntsville, AR, one sister, Alice Henderson and husband E.H. of Asher, OK, grandchildren; Taylor Dewey and Kayla and Lily Shaw and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Shaw, grandparents, Charles and Sula Shaw and Frank and Mary Carmical.
