Stan Kiel, 94, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on July 3, 2022, in Boca Raton, Florida.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 70 years, Pat, daughter and son-in-law Claudia and David Bossard, son Thomas Kiel, daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Cortlandt Schuyler, daughter Lisa Koll, and his grandchildren Breen Kiel, Joseph and Brianna Koll, Kendra Keller, Serena Leeming and her husband Reed, Kyle and Celia Schuyler, and great granddaughter Blakely Keller.

Stan is predeceased by his son Harry Kiel, III. He continued his loving relationships with his sisters Nellie Gay Moore and Madelon Ruhl.

Stan was born in Oneonta, New York, on February 8, 1928, to Margaret and Harry Stanley Kiel, Sr. He was the oldest of three children.
After high school, Stan served in the Army Air Force. He then met and fell in love with Pat at General Electric in Schenectady, New York. After getting married they moved to Endicott, New York, and then to Boca Raton, Florida, where he worked for IBM and retired in 1986.

Stan sang and played a variety of music instruments include the piano, drums and the banjo in addition to playing tennis, golf and walking. He loved the water with boats and water-skiing and dancing big-band music with his wife Pat.

Stan was kind, fun-loving, and smiled all the time. He worked hard all of his life and gave his time and energy to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and we will carry his memory in our hearts forever.
