Harry Stan Schorsch, born October 20, 1950, passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother Josephine and his father Harry. Stan grew up in Pocatello and attended Pocatello High School, then graduated from ISU with a degree in biology. Stan was an avid sportsman. As a youth he was a competitive boxer and baseball player. As an adult he became an excellent pool player winning many tournaments both in and out of state. In addition to organized sports, he loved to hunt and fish and after retiring from the railroad, he cherished time spent at his cabin in the Challis National Forest. In addition to his wife Laurie, he remains close to his children Natalie Cortez (Hector) of Layton, Utah and his son Derek Schorsch (Brandy) of Orlando, Fl. His sister Pam Schorsch Killinger (Charley) also lives in Orlando. In addition he is survived by by 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
