Mr. Harry P. Barber went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was 85 years old. Mr. Barber retired from Georgia State University in January of 1997 after 37 years of service in various positions. He was an avid musician and singer having performed in various venues in the Atlanta area and several cities throughout Florida. Mr. Barber was a proud member of Trinity Baptist Church which he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Laura Barber; a brother, William Barber; and a sister, Vivian Hadaway. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Hazel Barber; nieces and nephews, Bennie Eubanks, Sylvia Wilbanks, William Willard Barber; brother in law and his wife, Walter and Pat Rudd; and several great nieces and nephews.
