Dr. Harry George Kerasidis, 62, passed away peacefully in his home on March 7, 2022. Harry was born on May 27, 1959 in Washington, D.C. to the late George and Ileana Kerasidis. Harry was awarded his doctor of medicine from Georgetown University where he also completed his internship and residency in Neurology. In 1992, Harry came to Southern Maryland where he founded a medical practice that has provided neurological care to the community for the past thirty years. Harry was also a member of the Calvert Memorial Hospital Medical Staff. He was the Director of Calvert Memorial Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center, the Director of the Stroke Center, and the Director of the Center for Neuroscience. Harry is survived by his wife, Dr. Tammera Schmalz, and his three daughters, Zoe Kerasidis, Alexandra Kerasidis, and Anastassia Kerasidis.
