Died Sunday afternoon April 16, 2017. Harry was born March 9, 1933 in Madison County, Alabama a son of John and Gracie Boyett. During the Korean War, he served Honorably with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1955 and was employed with the Operating Engineers Union for over 35 years before retiring.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilma L. (Huckabee) Boyett on July 7, 2007; a son, Paul Boyett in 1998; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters. He is survived by 2 children, Linda (Little) Little of Gobles and Jim (Karen Prevatte) Boyett both of Gobles; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eunice (Floyd) Houk of Toney, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
