Harry Francis “JR” Williams, age 79, of Salem, WV passed away at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born March 18, 1935 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Harry W. Williams and Veda M. (Westfall) Williams.
Harry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Ann (Malcomb) Williams; two sons, Monty Williams ( Becky) and Christopher Williams (Art); two daughters, Lisa Williams Jones (Tim) and Corinna Williams Hudson (Jim); seven grandchildren, Bridget Williams, Jeremy Williams, Kyle Williams, Timothy TJ Jones, Heather Jones, Catherine Williams and Jesse Williams; Seven great grandchildren, Kane Williams, Mia Williams, Aydrian Williams, Raiden Williams, Hayleigh Fortney, Ryleigh Fortney, Mollie Jade Fortney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Jo Williams; three brothers, Walter Williams, Harold Williams and Aubrey Williams; and a sister, Mary Lee Williams.
He lived a full life always providing love, respect and support to his wife and children, always accepting of adversity, diversity or challenges. Harry’s dedication to his country as a soldier permeates the respect, love and honor. He was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. Junior’s legacy of pride and happiness will be continued through his seven loving grandchildren and his blessed seven great grandchildren.
