Harry Edsall Vealey, Jr., 79, of Salisbury passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Genesis Eldercare surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Newton, NJ on August 10, 1935, he was the son of the late Helen Green Vealey and Harry Edsall Vealey, Sr.

Harry was self-employed as a truck driver hauling livestock for over 50 years. He was very civic minded and active in the community while living in Lafayette, NJ. He was Baptist by faith.

He was the most giving, caring person you would ever meet. Harry was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be sadly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, William Vealey, Robert Vealey, Richard Vealey, Fred Vealey; sister, Shirley Vealey.

Left to cherish his memory are his first wife, Anna Meyer Vealey who he married on July 20, 1955; second wife, Vickie Eller Vealey, who he married on August 27, 1995; sons, Dan Vealey and wife Jacqueline of Augusta, NJ, Christopher Vealey and wife Karen of Augusta, NJ, Michael Vealey and wife Renee of Branchville, NJ; daughter, Kelly Wilson and husband Dave of Branchville, NJ; brothers, Donald Vealey and wife Carol, Edward Vealey and wife Pat, all of Newton, NJ; step-sons, Norman Hill, Jr. and wife Eva and Charles Hill all of Salisbury; step-daughter, Sandra Shauger of Middletown, NY; 12 precious grandchildren and the best mother-in-law ever, Ludie Mae Eller of Salisbury.
