Harry “Dale” Colebank, 89, of Rankin Road, Fellowsville passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at Beulah Land Assisted Living in Knottsville. He was born July 29, 1925 in Moatsville, WV, son of the late Patrick Sylvester and Lora Hester (White) Colebank. Dale graduated from Fellowsville High School and graduated from West Virginia University. He served in the US Army/Air Corp and was an Airplane Armorer Gunner 612, part of the 535th Bomb Squadron and 381st Bomb Group, and served during WWII. Dale retired as a Contract Purchaser for the State of Maryland. He loved 4-wheelers and motorcycles. Dale is survived by; one daughter, Linda Lora Ashburn and husband Martin, Severna Park, MD; two grandchildren, Linsy Ashburn and Andrew Ashburn, Pasadena, MD; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Shirley Stump Colebank, one son, Robert Dale Colebank; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
