Bond, Harry C., Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan,

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and brother passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was 71 years old. Harry Carthell Bond, Jr. was born on May 15, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Harry Carthell and Ovella (Wilson) Bond, Sr. He married Sharon D. Dorsey on April 8, 1995 in Saginaw; she survives him. Harry enjoyed studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. He owned and operated his own business, Dura-Kleen, for 25 years.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 21 years, Sharon D. Bond of Saginaw; five children: Shevonna Bond, Brian (Angela) Bond, Quela Bond-Miller, Harry C. Bond III, and Darryl Bond; four step-children Sheronda (Quintin) Rhodes, Traneal Dorsey, Stacy Dorsey and Jerorrous Dorsey; and many treasured and cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one brother Vincent (Kimberly) Bond; two sisters: Toni (William Ray) Hicks and Debra Blakely and her significant other Kenny McCall; two step brothers and four step sisters: Derrick Peoples, Tony (Veronica) Peoples, Doris Haynes, Tammy (Johnnie) Cotton, Elizabeth (Tony) Rogers, and Vicky (Greg) Tyson; and two aunts: Willette Daniels and Frances Gilyard. Also surviving are many of “Uncle Duty’s” loving nieces and nephews and several very special friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; and four sisters.
