Harry A. Murphy passed away peacefully on December 15 at the age of 96. Harry was born August 12, 1917 and raised in Philadelphia, PA.
Immediately after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served in the Mediterranean Campaign until 1945. Harry met and married Joan Steele. They were very active during their nearly 66 years of marriage, traveling extensively and enjoying many years as square dancers.
In addition to his wife and son, Harry is survived by a half-brother, Don Barron. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Barron.
