She died at 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, in her residence.
Born June 14, 1923, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Clinton and Grace Condon Beecher. She was married Dec. 26, 1942, in Logansport, to John J. “Jack” Morris, who survives.
Mrs. Morris retired in 1982 from the National Bank of Logansport.
Harriett was a mother that gave her all to her children and grandchildren. She always had time to listen and help.
She loved to fish, garden and crochet. In the last years, she enjoyed the addition of her great-grandchildren. Until recently, she volunteered at the All Saints Parish office on a regular basis.
Also surviving are two sons, John M. Morris and his wife, Mary Frances, Greenville, Texas, and James Morris and his wife, Mary, Alexandria, Ky.; one daughter, Jean Klepinger and her husband, Fred, Logansport; one brother, Larkin Beecher and his wife, Norma Jean, Logansport; one sister, Jean Grable, Twelve Mile; grandchildren, Elizabeth Cook, Julieanna Gibson, Jim Klepinger and his wife, Casie, Joseph Morris, Andrew Morris and his wife, Stacey, Eric Klepinger and Megan Morris; great-grandchildren, Christopher Gibson, Michael Morris, Fontana Cook, Hunter Klepinger and Olivia Little; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and four brothers preceded in death.
