Harold Weightman Williams, Jr., 64, of Mt. Clare, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Bridgeport the son of Verna M. Whisner Williams and the late Harold Weightman Williams, Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife Connie Louise Chipps Williams in 2003. He is survived by five children; Cynthia Denise Williams of Mt. Clare, Glen Williams of Florida, Harold W. Williams, III of Florida, Charles W. Williams of Huntington, Joshua H. Williams and wife Michaella of Mt. Clare and 5 grandchildren; five brothers; John Williams and wife Fran of Maryland, William Williams and wife Amanda of Martinsburg, Joseph Williams and wife Vaughn of Clarksburg, James Williams and wife Carol of Franklin Indiana, Phillip Williams and wife Shannon of Ohio; five sisters; Patricia Catlett and husband George of Stonewood, Dottie Bassel and husband John of Clarksburg, Shirley Everingham and husband Tony of Indianapolis, Mary Wright and husband Stanley of Ohio, Darlene Kline of Ohio; one brother-in-law; Ralph Cathell and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister Carol Cathell. Mr. Williams belonged to the VFW the American Legion and The North American Hunting Club and served in the Navy where he served during Vietnam. Mr. Williams also served in the Army Reserves. He loved his dog Tailgate and loved his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family.
