Harold Tull Thompson, June 24, 1931 – December 2, 2010.
Harold Tull “Sonny” Thompson, 79, of Salado. Mr. Thompson died Thursday evening December 2, 2010 in a Harker Heights Nursing Home. Mr. Thompson was born June 24, 1931 in Carlton the son of Zannie Tull and Mary Ray (Elms) Thompson. He married Cora Baker December 31, 1957 in Lexington, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death October 27, 2002. He married Janell Ponder November 3, 2003. Mr. Thompson was retired from the US Navy. He also worked for many years with Brazos Electric.
He loved fishing and sports, especially baseball. He was preceded in death by his wife and one son Jimmy Thompson, brother Thurman Thompson and two sisters Dorothy Davis and Wanda Norris. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife Janell Thompson of Midlothian, two sons Curtis Thompson of Salado and Wayne Thompson of Yoakum, daughter Brenda Everett of Salado; two step sons and three step daughters; three sisters Patsy Thompson of Carlton, Dora Hobbs of Henderson and Tinnie Barnett of Dallas, two brothers Jimmy Thompson of Burleson and Tommy Thompson of College Station; five grandchildren Carrie Everett, Nicholas Everrett, Derrick Tull Thompson, Chesli Thompson and Kristi Everett and four great grandchildren Alexis Reichert, Mason Reichert, Presli Thompson and Paizli Walker.
