Harold “Sonny” Brothers, 71 of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 21, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, son of Harold D. Brothers and Marcella (Coberly) Brothers.
Sonny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Frances “Frankie” (Jarrell) Brothers. In addition to his wife, Sonny is survived by a son; Jeffery Wayne Brothers and wife Karen of Centralia, two grandchildren; Jacob Austin Brothers and Jared Andrew Brothers, Step-Mother; Vonda Brothers of Centralia, three sisters; Linda Briggs and husband Jeff of Centralia, Terri Rogers Kuester of Centralia and Patti Ruche and husband Tom of Washington State, many nieces and a nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Gary D. Brothers and Michael Brothers. Sonny was a member of Greenview Christian Church in Centralia. He was a carpet layer for many years, owning his own business. He was a bass fisherman and started a program at Centralia High School coaching what he loved. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends, fishing and spending time with his loyal companion Lucy.
