Harold Robert Johnson, 82, of rural Streator, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Mr. Johnson was born July 1, 1938 in Brimfield to Menno and Louise (Mangold) Johnson. He married Carol Lynn Epsen on April 28, 1963 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Tonica.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Park Presbyterian Church, Streator. He enjoyed travelling to Arizona with his wife, Carol, attending the Farm Progress Show, learning more about agriculture and attending farm auctions.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; four children, Daniel Johnson of Streator, Cathy (Perry) Doucette of Sugar Grove, Julie (Jeff) Vogt of Inverness and Amy (Don) Parker of Chatham; seven grandchildren, Erin and Ayden Doucette, Jenna, Jessica and Jeffrey Vogt and Zoe and Zachary Parker; three sisters, Berniece Towne of West Lafayette, IN, Eloise (Lynn) Liable of Princeville and Marilyn (Richard) Dieffenbach of Princeville; one brother, John (Elaine) Johnson of Brimfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bernice Johnson and four brothers, Menno Jr., Raymond, LeRoy and Ben Johnson.
