Harold Richard Keener, 87, of Tunnelton, died on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at his home.

Harold was born April 15, 1928, in Molonar, PA, a son of the late William Henry and Audrey May (Daff) Keener.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from June 27, 1946 through April 26, 1948. Harold was a member of the Christion Fellowship Chapel. He retired in 1995 as a self-employed contractor in construction after working for many years in the business. Harold loved being around his family, listening to and playing music, in which he had the unique talent of playing many instruments.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucille Belle (Teets) Keener; one son, Harold Richard Keener Jr. of Tunnelton; four daughters and spouses, Christine and Tom Thorn of Tunnelton, Donna and Tony Parfitt of Fairchance, PA, Bonnie Collins of Procious, WV, Tammy and John Thornton of Hometown, WV; fourteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Keener, William Keener, Woodrow Keener; three sisters, Katherine Sherridon, Helen Vanek, Mary Clark.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Saturday, November 14, 2015, from 2:00 p.m.
