Harold R. Earl, 81, Anderson, died October 14, 2005 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born March 10, 1924 in Uniopolis, Ohio, and was an Anderson resident since 1943. He was a graduate of New Hampstire High School in Ohio.
He had worked at Anderson Stove Factory for five years. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a dedicated christian and was devoted to his family. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Anderson Indians. He was a member of the UAW Local #662 and S.O.S. Save Our Schools.
Surviving to cherish his memory is a son, Thomas L. and wife Gloria Biven Earl of Anderson; a daughter, Sharon McMillan of Anderson; a brother, James A. and wife Bonnie Earl of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Helen McGinn of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren, Thomas L. and wife Rhonda Earl II, April Lynne Earl and Larry McMillan all of Anderson; several nieces, nephews and cousins including, Gail Sue Carpenter of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years whom he married May 22, 1945, Hanna Belle Roeder Earl; his parents, Roy R. and Glenna Gail Krebs Earl; a brother, Irvin Earl; a special aunt, Florence Macher; and two infant grandchildren, Christa Marie Earl and Joshua Adam Earl.
