Harold R. Cox 81 of Clinton passed away on Nov 12, 2013 at 6:35am in Union Hospital Terre Haute. He was born in Clinton on Aug 23, 1932 to Joseph Everett Floyd Cox and Alice Uselman Cox. He was a Corporal in the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. He had worked as a banker and car salesman. He was a former member of the Rotary, Optimist Breakfast both of Terre Haute and a former member of the Terre Haute Marine Corp League and VFW in Clinton and the Assembly of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Everett Fay Cox, two sisters Catherine Wray and Nancy Donna, two grandsons Chad Drake and Harold Ray Cox II.
He is survived by his wife Beryl Paine Cox, a son Jon Scott Cox, two daughters Linda (Bill) Pinigar and Laura (Don) Curry. A sister Betty Shannon, a former daughter in law Betty Cox and a very special friend Lori Oellig. Five grandchildren; Donnie, Adam, Kyle, Brittany and TJ, two step grandchildren Jason and Billy and three step great grandchildren. Thirteen great grandchildren; Mercedes, Madison, Makayla, Era, Hanna, Haydon, Lilee, Auslie Clair, Gracie, Ethan, Addison, Emma Lynn and Gwendolyn.
